If you have the stock FJ60 horn still in your cruiser it is probably old and worn out. And really, it was never that great to begin with. I finally replaced mine a couple months ago these reasonably priced, good looking (matches my red 60) horns from Hella.

HELLA 003399801 Supertone 12V High Tone/Low Tone Twin Horn Kit with Bracket

These guys are definitely louder than the old stock horns but not loud to the point of being obnoxious. I feel a bit safer now that people can actually hear my horn when I honk at them.

The installation was pretty straight forward. I didn’t use the relay that was provided with the kit and things seem to be working fine. You will probably need some wire, quick connects, and crimpers. Once you get the wires connected you can just bolt in the new horns where the old ones were. These are a little bigger than the stock horns so I had to position them correctly to make them fit and the fit was pretty snug, but so far everything seems to work.
